Dear Friend,

My name is Alan Woodland and I'm a watercolor painter currently living in Brisbane, Australia. Painting is one of the most rewarding and challenging pursuits anyone could venture into and believe you me it is an adventure.

An adventure full of discovery in color, line, shape and light. To turn a sheet of paper or canvas into a two dimensional representation of, in my case, nature, which I paint in an impressionistic and realistic manner is a challenge that tests those with the courage and desire to have a go.

Well you have done yourself a favor by visiting my site. I offer my paintings to the general public at a very affordable price. I would love to see people from all walks of life able to share in my creations.

I have been painting for most of my life, and my passion and enthusiasm for painting has only grown in vigor. And I am now approaching my 60th birthday.

Every one of my paintings are my own original design of places that I have personally experienced. I believe it is important, when possible, to only paint what I personally experience. And by doing this I give of my very best, and capture the true spirit of the subject.

I truly want to share my passion, and give you the option of purchasing a work of art that will give you great pleasure at every viewing.
